Not only a talented vocalist but an accomplished flautist Lucinda’s career began whilst studying for a HNC in popular music production in Nottingham, after performing on ‘BBC Song For Christmas’ she spotted an advert in The Sun newspaper looking for singers and dancers to perform for HRH Prince Charles and after competing against thousands of competitors all over the country she was taken to London for rehearsals and later appeared on ‘A Royal Gala For Prince Charles’ shown on Carlton television performing alongside stars such as Robbie Williams and Geri Hallowell.
Throughout her years at collage Lucinda became well known as a soloist on the Midlands club circuit and also performed at many corporate events as a member of ‘The Sounds Of The Commitments’
Lucinda’s next big television appearance came in the year 2000 in which she sang to millions on Granada televisions ‘Stars In Their Eyes’ performing as Natalie Imbruglia. This appearance confirmed to Lucinda that this was a dream she was destined to follow and she shortly moved to London to become part of the ‘Opti Music’ team a creative lazar show that uses light technology as instruments with which she performed throughout the Uk and France.
As the age of tribute acts was becoming ever more popular Lucinda saw a gap in the market and decided to create her own show dedicated to Britany Spears employing a team of dancers she created a show with dazzling costumes and outstanding choreography, this became a huge success and she repeatedly toured the Uk working for successful chains including the popular Chicago Rock Café, Brannigans and Jumping Jacks.
In 2001 Lucinda got her next bid for stardom as she became a hopeful to be the nations next ‘Pop Idol’, she reached the final 50 performing alongside William Young and Gareth Gates beating over 70,000 hopefuls in the popular ITV series.
As the anniversary of 911 approached Lucinda was approached by the FSNBF and asked to represent them as the official ‘Fighters Sweetheart’ this enormous honour had Lucinda representing the fire fighters in Saint Paul’s Cathedral and singing live on all major news channels on Fire Fighters Day Of Remembrance. The months that followed had Lucinda producing yet another show representing a wide range of artists that she then took on a tour of Hong Kong.
Following her success on Pop Idol Lucinda starred in a leading role in Bollywood Blockbuster ‘Indian Babu’ and then continued touring with her popular show.
Lucinda arrived in Spain in 2003 moving to Puerto De Mazarron to be with her parents, she soon became a popular name on the Costa Calida headlining numerous fiestas and earning an outstanding reputation, it was there that she met 60’s star Don Fardon who asked her sing the title track on a multi artist cd in aid of the orphaned Zulu children of Gods Golden Acre in South Africa, this led to Lucinda to move back to the Uk to promote the cd around the country.
Whilst living back in Nottingham Lucinda got together with popular band ‘Replay’ performing at holiday parks and military bases in both the Uk and Germany. It was then that she was spotted by a producer from music channel MTV and was asked to audition for their new show ‘Wannabe’ in which she reached the final 12 in a search for a new girl group.
In September 2008 Lucinda made the decision to move back to Spain but this time to the Costa Blanca where she is currently performing as a solo artist singing a wide range of music or performing her fantastic multi costumed Shania Twain Tribute show, she is also a member of outstanding 7 piece band ‘Blacknight’ whom she will be performing at fiestas throughout 2009.
